Lilacs remind me of my mother because they are her favorites. I bought three lilac bushes for my mother for mother's day quite a few years back. One died but she transplanted the remaining two when she moved out of state and they now remind her of me.

Love for my mother feeds my soul.

Hahaha, milking? I haven't done that since college.

working outside today, an old Crosby Stills Nash and Young song that I haven't heard for a few years came on the radio. Cranked it up so loud the deck was shaking.

i've always been of the mind that music can't be too loud. not that i want to invade my neighbors' privacy (not THAT loud) but it's the one art form that i could never get overexposed to.

Neighbors are not a problem. There's a house on one side....several hundred feet away. On the other side there is woods for a ways then an interstate.

Across the road is a small field and a cemetery beside that. Behind us the nearest house is at least a mile away.

Though my daughter did tell me it was kind of loud....after she was standing behind me calling my name and I couldn't hear her.

it's the cemetary that makes this a questionable decision.

I really thought my husband was the only person in the known universe who still plays that stuff. It drives me crazy!! And he listens to it on a record that has seen better days.

He knows now to only listen to it when I'm not home.
