What exactly makes a story 'hot'?

Now, I don't spend a lotta time on the forums board but I figure i have too since I seem to keep getting such trashy story feedback. I do understand that it's more to an erotic story than two people fuckin each other like jackrabbits. I can't really get to teh core of the problem but all I can say is that I write mostly incest stories. So what exactly makes a story a good one?

I've posted a few here over the years. I shudder when I say this, seemed like I found Lit yesterday and yet after over 200 stories...

To be honest, you have to establish believable characters and have a reason for the sex, make it both credible and also plausible. Believabilty is one important factor. If it does not extend beyond a boundary of "plausible acceptance" then this may be a problem.

Emotion is aso important. Not so much that a father is touching a daughter, a brother a sister, a sister a brother... but why? There should be a building need behind it, a need that bridges the gap of propriety.

I could go on, but this may help provide a start. Currently helping others with editing/writing, will help as I can if requested.

Writing that makes me want to be in the story with that guy or girl. Believable situations that foster anticipation, love, and lust with an air of excitement make a story hot.
