I know LaRouche himself died in 2019, but what about his network of organizations? Are they still active?

You might remember LaRouchies from back in the day, passing out more-nukes literature in airports. Lyndon LaRouche started out as a Communist and mutated into an extremely bizarre form of RW conspiracy theorist, seeing all of history as a struggle between good (represented by Plato, science, technology and industrialism) and evil (represented by Aristotle and rural aristocracy). He was into the Star Wars thing before Reagan was. He had many followers -- his organization was a cult, with all that implies. Every LaRouchie I ever met gave off a cult-member vibe.

Aristotle, while wrong about practically everything in physics and biology, was actually more of a scientist than Plato, who worshiped abstract concepts and scorned paying any attention to the material world.

When I was in college, I occasionally came across pamphlets about goodness of Plato and the evil of Aristotle. Once, near the Capitol in DC, I saw a mob of LaRouchies chanting, "1, 2, 3, 4, Richard Burt is Moscow's whore!" Burt was the newly appointed ambassador to the USSR. That was one of the many weird things about LaRouchies, they were often fighting mad over things nobody else even thought of as issues.
