I will first off say that I have no Realtime BDSM experience. I have always denied having interest in it, though my Domme sister has told me from the beginning that she knew otherwise.

I love seeing pics of women in bondage, enduring "torture," and reading "Women in Peril" style bondage stories.

My sister's offered numerous times to teach me more, of both the Domme and Sub roles, though up til now I have said no.

So. Recently, I have started roleplaying both Domme and Subbie rolls in Lit's Sexual Roleplay forum. I find it exhilarating, especially in the Domme/Mistress role.

Does this mean anything? Has anyone else gone from such fantasies into Realtime BDSM? Am I asking the right questions?

Hi Shadowoftheheart!

I never did anything in RL BDSM before I started writing it online.

First I had a character who was in a Macho profession and felt a lot of guilt about a lot of things. That lead me to a lot of role play that was terrific fun.

I am not a Domme or a Sub exactly. I like both roles.

So it could be just fun for you as role play. It could also lead to you doing some experimenting with BDSM.

What does it make you? A person who like role play. A person who might want to do some real life exploration.

Though many people do not understand either role play or BDSM, there is nothing wrong with these things. If you get what you want from these things? Then good for you!

Maybe we'll do a little role play together sometime!

PS, Now I'm going to go check out what threads you are playing in Sugah!

There's another side to this that you might want to examine...i've discovered a LOT of woman in very high powered, high visability, high pressure careers are deeply submissive. And in talking with them, i found that they, like me, have two basic drives: the need for release from the intense pressure of their RL, and a fear of failure.

Enter the Dom, who can blow our minds and get us out from under the pressure in a way nothing else can, and also...gives us a certain freedom to fail...because they care enough to patiently teach us what is expected, quickly correct us and punish us, which like you said, relieves us of our guilt in failing.

In my RL, failing simply isn't an option available. As a submissive, i actually have the "luxury" of knowing that if i fail, i will be punished, and allowed to try again. That's an amazingly huge relief...in a wierd way.

Hi Nusubgirl!

I agree with what you said. Even though I run my own business and home school, which some might think is a calm way to live, I have those issues too. I don't feel I can be allowed fail at anything. I feel I have too much to do at all times. I feel a need for release. Mind you I love my life but yeah I see just what you mean and I feel it too.

Interesting.

I do have to admit that is one appealing aspect of the idea of submission, for me too. The chance to really let everything go.

But I also like being in control, which, as we all know, is not very common in real life.

Hey, thanks for the responses! I think this is gonna help. :)

Coolies!

I'm enjoying this spy thread a lot right now. Saving The World One Bra At A Time.

My own restart thread, Whips and Chains, Training Restart.

https://forum.literotica.com/showthread.php?t=352958

And Conquered

Sadly most of the other threads I love have either died out or are going waaaaay too slow for my wishes.

*le sigh*

You come up with an idea for playing together let me know.

Well shite.. Opened up your whips n chains thread, then the source/ inspiration story, and what do I read?

"Nobody ever just falls into the life. It is a long torturous process that for some of us covers many years. It is an enigmatic tour through the dark recesses of your own mind. A journey not for the timid or shy. I have always believed that these cryptic images were always inside me. I just suppressed or hid them. Like most of us. It did start about ten years ago. I was an innocent. Weren't we all once? "

Heh. Maybe I need to start reading the stories of Lit more closely.

Yeah it's a GREAT story! The first one I read at lit! I so identified with the lead female character, in many ways, I still do.

Enjoy!

If the fantasy gets you off, you might want to consider easing into some real life play. Our fantasies don't always translate into kink, but sometimes, they do, and when they do, we should honour that aspect of ourselves as long as it's safe, consensual, and sane, you know?

A little walk on the wild side never hurt anybody. ;)

Hey, the magic words! I recognize that phrase. :)

That is rather the direction I am leaning in fact. Thanks for the words of encouragement! :)
