Just wondering how long it takes to get a story approved? I posted my very first story and I can see its been looked at 15 times I think but it's still pending. Just was wondering how it all worked. Been almost a week I think?

Once you sumbit it, every time you look at it in it's 'Preview' form, or anytime Laurel or Manu have a gander, it counts as a view. So that's why it has views despite not being posted.

A week? It should find out its fate any time now. Maybe the administrators have one helluva back-log.

Literotica says right on the submission page it can take up to 72 hours. But, if you send a lot of stories that are in a series, they are not all going to run on the same day. Or if the story is very long, it may take a lot of time to read and make sure it fits in the category. I have submitted as many as five stories within a few days period and have waited up to a week for some to be approved.

I once waited nearly 2 weeks for a story to be approved, it really all depends on the overall workload that Laurel and Manu have. At the time I submitted that story, the whole format and appearance of the site was changing so it was obvious why it took them so long to get around to it. I've never heard of a story that stayed 'pending' forever so don't despair. I'm sure it'll be done before long.
