I have had stories viewed up to 12 times before approval. It isn't unusual. Also if you have lokked at it again since you posted that counts as a view too.

i've only viewed it twice. once immediately after posting and once on saturday. twelve times before approval seems like a lot. how many times do they have to read it before they decide it's good enough or whatever?

Both of my stories that went to 12 views ended up with E's.

I think it's a good thing to get several views. My assumption is that several ediotrs rather than just one have taken a look at it. Also, I assume the editors are like the rest of us with other things going and if the story is long, it may well be an editor opens it two or three times before he/she finishes reading it.

motherfuckering stupid ass rules. I WAS JUST CHECKING FOR A SMALL MISTAKE AND I DIDN'T EVEN MAKE A FUCKING CHANGE!

Have you made changes to the work OR even just viewed it & hit SUBMIT while it is "Pending"? Stories and poems are approved by date, oldest to newest. Whenever the author makes changes to a story or poem - oreven if the author clicks on the submission and hits SUBMIT again - that submission is moved to the end of the queue. To speed up the posting of your work, only make changes when necessary.
