collect?

Salt &pepper shakers? Owls? What do you gotta have when you see on on a shop shelf.

Anything Coca-Cola, glasses especially. I use them I store them, I've got Coke stuff everywhere.

And Sports memorabilia, but I rearly buy it. It's either signed for me, or given to me from friends and family.

*Candles and candle holders

*Shot glasses

*Picture frames

*I used to collect Marilyn Monroe stuff.......but it was just endless and I lost interest.

I collect birdcages. I'm the only person I know that does. My pride and joy is a huge, timber, ornate Indonesian bircage modelled on a Balinese temple. It houses one very noisy canary named Birdie Num Num.

:) I am amazed.:) It is good because they can be such exquisite pieces of art:)

I've just been trying to think what I collect and I don't really collect anything. Just stash for my art work that I might use to build something with one day......

*no it's stash, not junk  *

I collect giraffes. They are my favorite animal and I have collected at least 100 giraffe items (including things as "nick-knacks", photos, stuffed ones, cards).

I collect art:) and glass:)
Last count I had 178 pieces of art hanging around my home and studio. Only about 5 of them are not ones I have done myself.

Hey maybe I do collect something, lol.

I collect.... Star Wars memrobilia..... if that makes me weird then I'm weird but I'm a happy one.

Aside from the usual videos, cd's, tapes...

Books. More than half are non-fiction and mostly dealing with cultures or spirituality. I do have some old books, including a 2nd edition copy of "The Scarlett Letter" that my great grandmother bought or was given back in 1899, along with some others. It's not in great condition, but it has a lot of sentimental value. My grandmother gave it to me when I was in high school and having to do a report on the story. I could be very happy living in a bookshop, although I'd be afraid all my relatives would move in. We're all avid readers.

Rocks. I like rocks :) Once when the movers were hauling my boxes, one of them jokingly asked if there were rocks in the box and was very surprised when I said, "Yes." Rocks, crystals, semi-precious stones.

Candles and candle holders, incense burners. I guess that's about it.

My post, let me hijack for a moment :)

where is Karada Heterotic. Please excuse my ignorance :)

I'd be happy to answer the question! And of course it has nothing to do with the fact that this'll be post number 99... :)
Karada is a rope tie from Shibari, japanese bondage. Shibari is loosely based on Hojo-jutsu, an old martial art for quickly and securely tying a person. The karada is a harness for the torso that doesn't restrict movement, but which I find aesthetically pleasing, and is a good base for further tying. Nawashibari.com is a good starting place to find out more about shibari.
