What do you think of the tat I am going to get on Sunday?

Hi A/all! I wanted to get your opinion on what you thought of the tattoo I am going to get on Sunday. It is archaic Japanese for "slave" -- on the left is the woman kneeling, and behind her and above her is the hand of her Master.

very nice idea. but, while i hate to be a naysayer here, have you seen the kanji for slave? i tried to find a pic just now, but for some reason both google and altavista are pretending not to exist, so i couldn't locate one. i just happen to prefer kanji to archaic japanese. archaic chinese, however, is often more elaborate and "fancy" than kanji, so you might want to check that out too.

hey, you asked my opinion, i'm being honest. i urge you to check out some of the other ways of writing "slave" cuz well, i think they're just prettier! you and your master might agree!

well after a little fiddling this is the final result! Just thought I'd share, it's a little different forwards it reads peace in japanese but backwards it is Master's initials.

Thank you so much! I was suprised how little it hurt in that area and the artist was surprised I didn't bleed. At first the outlining was kinda ouchie but then after a while, mind over matter kicked in...and I am deathly afraid of needles which is the funny part -- but reallllly wanted one. I am pretty happy with it and might even get more, not sure what though

i like the small of the back ... no one will ever really know it's there except when you bend over or sit down and are wearing a short shirt ... and if they get a itty bit of flash of thong of sexy underwear at the same time ... its just so sexy!

i like them (tattoos not underwears ) on the shoulder too but it's hard to strike a graceful note i think if you're wearing a sleeveless dress. depends on personal taste though. i'm always fascinated with tattoos men get from time spent in the army.\

i think in another thread someone mentioned that book Kushiel's Dart to you? you should really read it ... and tell me what you think of the tattoo the main character Phedre has. It's a symbol of her prostitution.
