What do you plan to do on 9-11?

I have to work that day but plan to take the whole family to a 9-11 concert here in town to show them (The kids) we will not and can not forget this.....................

I also bought a nice new US flag and will be flying it proudly on the 11th..................

Other than that, the TV is going to either be on a movie or nothing - I can't watch any more of that stuff.

I will probably be surfing various sites to see what is going on around the world to remember this day or watching television to do the same. Although I live in Canada, I am American and will be remembering all the lives lost to this horrendous act.

I bought a flag to fly other than that I am going to say a prayer or two. Go to work and try to pretend that it is a normal day. I just might avoid the television and the radio, if it seems depressing.

There's a memorial service in town that all of the school kids are part of. My friend and I will be attending to see all of our kids in it.

At work we're actually shutting down operations from 8:30 til 9 am to allow time for remembrance and reflection.

I suspect at some point during the day I will also get to walk down 20 flights of stairs.

I have to be at school for the most part, and I am sure there will be memorials at school, and I plan on spending some time meditating about world peace and the preservation of innocent life.

There will be a memorial at school at noon. I'm not sure if I will attend or not. It's still a shock to me that all of this really happened. I went to NYC about four months ago, to go to the last night of the memorial in lights. I finally got around to developing the pictures I took from that. If anyone is intrested in seeing them, and if it's alright with Wizard I'll post them here.
