What do you NOT TRUST?

I don't trust the next poster. I mean, just look at 'em! How could anyone possibly trust them?

Estimates for pick-up times on togo orders.

90 damn minutes in the car, I know they didn't even start the order until well after they said it was supposed to be done.

Greenwashers like Amazon

It’s ads are all about how it generates all of its own electricity from the sun then it sends me a pair of bluetooth earbuds in a box the size of an elephant. and if only they were the worst

LOL

It happens everywhere. I bought 3 face products, biggest 50ml. They arrived in a big box filled with papers inside. This from a company which proud itself about "green technology" (ho doesn't these days?) #Hypocrisy

I think it might be easier to tell who is like that in person, it's hard online, so easy to type supportive messages that might be a total lie

That is true. Then again, with these kind of things, it just takes one person to ruin the entire experience.

People here who pretend to love you and be in your corner and then bitch about you behind your back.

A million years and a million tears on Twitter taught me this: "Show, don't tell" Conduct yourself both on threads/feeds and in DMs with the respect and honesty you expect from others*.

It starts with each one of us and its about being the best we can be. We can't control how others conduct themselves, we can only influence through our own actions. If they can't do likewise, let it go. Its wasted energy. Focus on the people who are real.

*Aside:
Here I am telling you! Oh the irony, huh?

You can stalk my thread contributions and they will tell you my story, but you'll need to slide into my PMs to see that side for yourself. ;)

One supportive message is easy. Being consistent is much more difficult. Don't take a snapshot of online behaviour. Consider the whole.

If I type a supportive message then I do genuinely mean it. Sometimes I might go a bit heavy and sugarcoat a message to the point of sickly but that is normally to people who I know need that extra bit of sweetness.

My problem is being supportive to people who I don’t get on with or I haven’t quite figured out. Sometimes, they will post things and I truly feel for them but I just cannot type the words of support. It isn’t because I don’t want to be supportive, but because I fear that they will reject my care and also that they may take my support as an offer of friendship where there isn’t one being offered.
