LOL! Yes, well, it did seem that way about mid week... I actually did call a friend to bring food and kleenex! And bless her heart she came out in the rain to do it for me. Thanks so much for the offer though... I may keep it on reserve for future needs!
But alcohol and batteries... hmmm... now why didn't I think of that? Then I could have said - the heck with netflix!

I'm trying to learn how to read it. Trying to teach myself harmonica/guitar.

Oh very cool! I took guitar when I was a teenager... learned how to play John Denver's Rocky Mountain High... then was told I needed to cut back my nails so quit. LOL Yes I am ashamed to admit I was that shallow!
Meh, we're all ashamed of something dumb we did when we were young lol. I enjoy the blues so I mostly play the blues harp. Don't quiet know how to play anything yet, still relatively new. Learning my way around the instrument still. I took up an instrument too late in life...

No, never say that! It is never too late to begin learning and experiencing new things... no matter what they are... if we are interested in them. And let me just add... "late in life".... please, talk to me in twenty years.. then you will understand that phrase.

Yeah well.. not so much the drunken debauchery I am worried about... it is the "packed with people". I abhor crowds. LOL

what an awesome thread! no doubt that many of my fellow bbw's have suffered from poor self-esteem either from cruel jokes, mean people or our own poor sense of body image...so reading such warm messages is so empowering!

Yep...all is back to normal. Everyone's pretty happy though, we got some good publicity...
Weather is nice, a little "cold" for us Floridians....but I'm sure a lot better than up north. (don't mean to rub it in) well maybe just a little...just enough to get you visit...
