A BBW is a Big, Beautiful, Woman. To me that includes just about any woman taller or wider than the "barbie doll" prototype.

I personally like women who are not thin and bony. I'm not a small guy myself. 6'0"/240. My wife was 5'7"/200 when I married her.

Everyone has a different idea of what constitutes a BBW. To me, i'm big when you compare me to my friends who are all sizes zero thru eight. But then, at size 14 some people have said i'm average size. Go figure. When i think BBW i think a tall, voluptous woman with large breast (sizes dd and up), round hips and shapely legs.

I don't think the term BBW is a nice way of calling someone fat or chubby. If you're 500 pounds, you're not Big and Beautiful...you're just FAT. (sorry if i hurt anyone's feelings but its a free country and i'm just voicing my opinions)

I agree with you, not all large women are beautiful, by any stretch of the imagination. Just like not all women who have the bodies of models are attractive. Personally, a major turn off for me is seeing someone's ribcage. I'm content as long as I can't see ribs poking out every time see her naked. I'm not a "chubby chaser", I'm an admirer of the female form in almost all aspects (extremely under-weight or over-weight do physically turn me off, but even then there could still be something beautiful about them).

It's been my experience so far that larger women are no different than smaller women. Sure, some have self-esteem issues, but so do thin women. Sure, some are the nicest people you could meet, again so are some who aren't BBWs. It really boils down to the individual woman, am I attracted to her, do I enjoy her personality, sense of humour. Is she smart? Do we share anything whatsoever in common?

I don't look at any woman for just physical attraction when contemplating a relationship, or hell even for sex. I need something more, a connection, passion if you will, to really enjoy any sort of interaction, sex or otherwise.

I just feel like I don't need to be driven by other's opinions and as long as I feel and act beautiful, others see it.
