Do you remember your dreams or do you promptly forget them?
What hidden meaning lies in your subconscious?

Usually I dont remember my dreams at night. But lately Ive been having nightmares and I remember every detail. Then I really wondered how many others out there might have trouble sleeping. Like myself... Whats in your dreams?

I remember my dreams. They are so real that I can wake up from one and still feel the person's touch upon my.

I wouldn't have it any other way!

Shouldn't we have more than one option? True nightmares/night terrors involve "shapeshifting" within dreams. If you tend to take on the forms of other people/things, or become them in your dreams, then that is a true night terror, and neither through cause or effect, indicates that the dreamer is more empathetic than others. As for remembering dreams, you can train yourself to remember them simply by writing the main ideas in a notebook or journal when you wake up.

If I can remember a dream then it is a lucid dream so I have complete or near complete control of the dream.

Now I know not all of my dreams are lucid because i go many nights where i don't remember any dreams.

sorry about that

I did not mean to leave out options. Its just merely a lil problem of me not being educated well enough on the subject of dreams. I do apologise

I do most of my dreaming in the day. And generally, it's about sex. So if you ever catch me starin' at you with a weird look on my face...

That means

Take me now??

I always dream very vividly... some of my dreams are so vivid that they wear me out and I actually wake up tired...

My dreams

Ive been having strange dreams! Im lying on my bed with my boyfriend by the way he seems cute in my dream:) When I reach in frount of me to open a shower curtin. Suddenly Im transformed into a bathroom. Where I see a girl lying face down in the bathtub. I grab her wrist and I can see two slashes on her wrists. The next thing I know shes walking into the next room where my boyfriend is jacking off. She walks by him slyly and says to him I bet you like that.. Im following her and she turns around to tell me. How do you like your boyfriend now "he killed me"? She keeps saying it over and over and as Im leaving. He says you always believe what everyone elce.. wierd.

I couldn't vote. My dreams are all of the choices except the "I never dream" choice.

It's rare that I can't remember a dream upon waking, and they're always very vivid and detailed and action-packed.

The most romantic kiss (not the most passionate, just the most romantic) I ever had was in a dream (figures!) I must have been 16 when I had the dream, and it was about a boy who lived up the street from me that I had a mad crush on, though we rarely ever spoke (he was older, we didn't run in the same crowd, etc.) In the dream I was with my best friend at the mall and there was a sweater sale and people were rushing around the store looking for bargains. I saw him at the same time that he saw me, and he smiled, walked right over to me, put his hand on my face and kissed me. No tongue. Just a soft gentle kiss that I could still feel on my lips when I woke up.

Lucid

He moves in liquid motion through my dream. Walking towards me in the room colored with shades of white. I lay on a bed in this room. A large old rod ironed framed the deep feather bed. White lucent curtains billowed gently in the light breeze. The ocean crashed on the other side. I smelled the salt air. I felt at ease in my mysterious surroundings. I knew not where I was, and yet I felt at home, only no home I had every known before. A smile slides effortlessly across his mouth. His mouth looks ripe, delicious even. Plump lips carved out by the gods. Ready for the taking. A thrill whispers through me, leaving me tingling. My body humming. Purring. I wait every night for him to come to me as he does. Effortlessly moving through my dark dreams, a vision of lightness and comfort.

I've had the same 3 recurring dreams my entire life. In one I'm a little girl (turn of the century clothing) walking with a bunch of other kids and a teacher (almost like a school trip) we come upon an old water mill (the kind they used to grind flour) we play there for a while I start walking over the water steps, fall in and drown.

The worst part is a couple years ago while visiting relatives in the south I found this exact spot..was very strange. I'm now convinced that I had a relative drown there. (but I don't want to know enough to look into it)

I have had all of the dreams you mentioned but they are always Lucid dreams. They are always so amazingly real that when I wake up I know what happened. Be it a nightmare where it was so real that I wake up with a shock in a cold sweat or a sexual one where I wake up extremely turned on they are always lucid.

i'm usually in a fight from the last dream i remember, and i used to dream i was falling alot, but last night, was funny in the dream i came home from work, and couldnt find Innocent Angel, only to end up with the 2 of us acting like kids running round the house, with her trying to catch me, dont remember why, but i woke up laughing some :)

I have one re-occuring dream..

For years now, I have had a dream that involves our country being hit by an atomic bomb... sometimes the dreams start out differently, but they end up the same... a blinding white flash, then a mushroom cloud in the distance... the last one I had.. I was sitting outside our apartment with several of our neighbors, when the airraid sirens went off.. we just looked at each other saying that it was most likely another test of some sort.. when all of a sudden we heard what sounded like a jet engine fly over head.. a few minutes later.. a blinding white flash.. then the mushroom cloud.. then the shockwave hit us as we were screaming... then I woke up.. scary, very scary. I just cant figure out why I keep having those dreams... :(

I don't think that I dream at all. Maybe I do but don't remember.

Everyone dreams. It is your minds way of dealing with certain things. Some people don't remember their dreams though, your mind chooses to forget.

Oh heavens, please don't apologize! I think you're well-educated! Who else would think to analyze dreams? I just come off as rough.

I have a recurring nightmare

It is in black and white. I am swimming in about 30' of water about 60' from the pier, when I see a large shark come into view. I start to swim for the pier as the shark circles me. He keeps a good distance, but the circles are getting steadily smaller. When I get about halfway to the pier, the shark charges for me, but I dodge it at the last second. Now I am desperatly swimming for the pier. As I get closer to the pier I can hear people screaming and reaching out for me. Then just before I can grasp my dreamgirls outstretched hand, the shark gets me.

Then I wake up, breathing heavily, in a pool of my own sweat.

There is a website by the School of Metaphysics that has a very interesting section on dream analysis. I learned a lot. There's also a lot of new age B.S. so beware. Here's the link:
