I usually read or listen to music when I want to unwind, but I just spent an hour coloring with my daughter, and LOVED it! I'm ready to go out and buy my very own coloring book. :D

So what helps you relax and unwind? Reading? A hobby? Anything unusual? I'm sure sex might be one also. :p

cross stitching......i have made baby quilts for everyone in my family as long as they keep having them it gives me something to do.....and it's a nice gift....

Hit the road!

I drive over roads I have never been. It clears my head and relaxes me until a deer jumps in front of the van!

Oh well! I try so hard!

cross stitching
I'm a cross-sticher, too, april-wine. I've made 60 plus ornaments for my family's Christmas trees (yes, plural - my mom has nine trees, I have one). And it's a great way to commemorate a baby's first Christmas.

I've recently gotten into weight lifting as well. The afterglow gives me energy and calms me down all at once.

i read a book, listen to music (on occasion), and talk to my best friend (he always cheers me up somehow)

I like to get in my car, light a dube, and cruise with the music cranking, late at night when the roads are mine. :)

Fantasize

Or masturbate, whichever is more appropriate. I'm going through a sex thing at the moment I think!

SteamyChick, summed it up for me....

Well, that and I make herbed eye pillows to sooth my eyes while I'll put on some nice tunes, bust out the hot tea, just veg.... fantasize.... then masturbate....

It all comes around to sex.

To relax....

First, off go the boots.
Then, the socks, (yeah, stinky, I know, )
Next, sit down in the rocker, and prop my feet up on the foot rest.
Lastly, strech as much as possilbe, and grab the remote and veg.

Or, follow all steps, exept at the end, turn on the stereo, and grab a really good fantasy, or spider-man novel, and read till I fall asleep.

This is what I do too, but with a cold drink

Relaxing

Pulling out an electric guitar usually does the trick for me. Lots of loud rock and roll riffs will calm me down from most situations.

And for those tricky ones, the amp does go up to eleven...

(Bonus points available for the reference)

I used to run, but have busted my knee up in the past week...that leaves any vigorous sex out of the question, as well as anything else requiring any sort of strenous movement.

Hmm, April has a lovely idea though, I used to cross-stitch, maybe I'll pick it up again and try and make something in the next three weeks. :)

Other than that I guess I'm stuck with reading and listening to music (I hope the library can handle my voracious reading habits)

Spinal Tap, anyone? LOL

For me...

Working out. Watching a little TV. And anything that involves an orgasm. :)

Reading, writing, listening to music, daydreaming, watching TV...

Just general goofing off!

i'm with beck except for the driving around part. My post-dubage usually ends up on the front balcony with a crossword puzzle and a little something-something with a beat and heart on the stereo. watering my plants seems theroputic somehow, and a couple minutes of tai chi never killed anyone. well if it did, it did so very slowly. :D

Masturbate!!!!!!!!!!! Whoops!!!

That is to relieve, tension or stress...but it can be relaxing (WEG)

On the serious note. Listening to music, going online to lit. Going on line to speak to (You know who? Smile.) Watching t.v. Taking a long drive. Going to the beach. A nice walk in the park. Playing video games. (Although they can raise blood pressure.) People watch. I am going off today, aren't I?................
