Simple question...not answered so simply. Women, what is it that you want?..and men, what is it that you think women want? It can be anything....
This should be interesting and a thread that will die very quickly I am sure unless you have the time to pause and think for a moment. I hope you do.

That is exactly what I found when I wasn't looking for him. I can't begin to tell you how happy I am.

He doesn't yell when I do something stupid, or impulsive. He doesn't get upset when I don't have things done because I got sidetracked doing something else. He understands my need to just stand in the shower and cry from frustration sometimes. Helps me with my homework, lets me go off on a tangent once in awhile, and likes to cuddle on the couch with me.

What more could a woman ask for?

They want someone who understands the concept of "personal space" and "independence" who can take care of themselves if need be yet who wants to be with them every second of every day and who can't live without them.

They want to make sweet, tender love and be thrown on the bed and taken as hard as possible.

Someone who likes romantic comedies, cares about his looks and his clothing, and is willing to cry, but, again, they also want that same guy to be rough, "manly" (whatever that is), who likes to watch sports and hang out with the lads, and could have few days of stuble with crazy hair and wrinkled clothing and still look amazing.

The only thing I have found that women are absolutely clear on...fingernails should be nice and trimmed.

I don't agree with this. I *do* want someone who understands personal space and who can take care of himself, but I do not want someone who wants to be with me every second of every day.

That would drive me bugshitty.

I want someone who GETS me. Someone who is creative without being obsessive, who is eccentric (even weird?) without insanity.

Someone who will accept me as I am, idiosyncrasies and all, and walk with me as I become who I will be.

With lots of great sex thrown in.

I used to have a list. These days, I don't even bother. They never get past the "someone who GETS me" criteria.
