Good sense of dress style
Conversation
Pay for the date (unless agreed upon otherwise) and DON'T expect a "wine and dine 69"

I'll also suggest that you break the mold w/ the date idea - it doesn't ALWAYS have to be dinner and a movie...it could be a round of mini-golf followed by ice cream sundaes, or taking a cooking class together and then go out to karaoke, etc.,

Make a girl feel special. You can do that without spending a lot of money! How about a single flower? Holding doors, being a gentleman, having something to talk about, and listening. Get hints for the second date if you're interested.

But then, I haven't been on a real date in forever. The last two guys I dated didn't like going out EVER. Not even if we were each paying for ourselves. I've been robbed of dating in my 20s
