Sammy went and brought home a wierd looking thing. He says that its a kitten, but it's got gray and yellow patches all over its head and body and white legs. Kinda cute in an ugly sort of way, if you can stand cats to begin with. Dogone thing won't stop buzzing. seech! wonder if I'll ever have any peace and quiet around here again.

Any way the thing needs a name, if I leave to Sam, he'll come up with one of Hamlet's witches or some such thing. Can't let him saddle this kitten with a name longer than it is, that no one understands except Sam and you KNOW what he's like.

Any sugestions for a name for my new side kick?

Aww, a kitty! You'll grow to love her, Pudds, I promise. That buzzing will be the happiest sound you hear. Next to the can opener, maybe. Oh, and the fridge door opening. THEN the purring of kitty.

I'm not very creative when it comes to picking names. I'll think about it, though, and let you know if I come up with something suitable for a darling little calico.

Name it Muddles!

Puddles and Muddles. I think that is as cute as it gets.

excellent idea Starfish, but I'm not sure the wonder poodle and a kitty will get along... hmm

Similar names may be cute but will be confusing to each of them--pick something very different. Muddles will sound the same as Puddles when you are yelling or praising.

(FYI--This rule applies to naming kids too--imagine Brian and Ryan Smith on the ICU together in the Pedi hospital--yeah--that is real smart.... Spoken from the healthcare worker's experience. )

You can usually pull something 'cute' out of mythology. How about either "Rama" or "Sita" (believe they are Hindu gods, someone help me out here).

I've always had a pechanct for "Chiron," but it's suited towards dogs a bit more.

Muddles? The way sammy talks we'd never know who he was mad at. Hey that might not be such a bad idea! Have to keep her off the board though, one of Sammy's critters here is enough.

She sure is a fiesty snip. Tried to use my tail for a swing, Then went to stalking Digger. Not a good idea, he tends to be cranky in the mornings. He just cuffed her though and she came back to me and cuddled, and that annoying Buzz, kinda vibrates her whole body.

Chey, that would make three of you with that name, and Sammy sometimes has trouble remembering who he is.

I think that she is starting to grow on me though.

If she buzzes that much call her Dildo...
hahaha... was kidding. Don't mention that one to Sam when he has been drinking, or she may end up with it.

How about Laurel?

Yeah thats cute :D

Or Bizzy :p

Sorry I guess I"m hooked on that buzzy/bizzy type name today...damn it's early

Puddles, baby, that buzzing's called purring.

Puddles, Digger, sounds like you are all named after things you do. Name her Annoyance.

I'm kidding, what about Stalker or Sneeker?

I was going to say something else, but I see that a compromise is in order here....

Call her.....

Dimuddlesirabwuzzitteron.

Damn Starfish, I don't think that I can twist my toungue arround that.

Both Digger and I came to Sammy's house when our people had to go to nursing homes, and we brought our names with us.

Well now Swimmer thinks that this Kitten is her's, and she is going to name it, Hrummmph! We'll see about that!

How about "Swimmer" then? Can't get much stranger for a name for a cat!

For a Girl Kitten? You've been having too much single malt. Bibical names, Hmm Jezebel, comes to mind, or Diliaha, wait those were bad grils weren't they? I like the story of Deborah, but I don't think that our Lit Deborah would like having a kitten named after her.

Its hard to think with that anoying purring going on all the time.
