Made you look huh ........ that's the title of a poem. The gentleman who wrote it died last weekend, it's an incredible piece of poetry. He was very close to a dominant I'm rather fond of, was a Mentor to him and apparently the only time my friend has EVER been 'inclined' to switch. I'm told he could do 'the eyebrow thing', one look and you were mentally dancing between arousal and abject fear. Anyway, I digress. When my friend shared it with me it made cringe/swoon, later it made me think of the motley crew here in Lit and I thought I'd swing by and share knowing it may resonate to a few. Hope you're all wonderful, I'm doing great, focused & happy and will spare you the trivia of mere details .

What Do Bisexuals Want?
By Jack Random

I want the boy at the video store.
The skinny punk boy
With the pale skin
And the dog collar
And the tattoo of a spider on his chest.
I want an older woman
With short black hair,
An ex-hooker with a bad attitude
And a damaged, hopeful heart.
I want handcuffs and riding crops
And oral sex in semipublic places.
I want a boyfriend with a girlfriend
Who thinks it's cute
And gets hot
When I kiss him on the dance floor.
I want to fall passionately in love
With a woman
Who's slept with more men than I have
(For once), and doesn't care.
I want that boy
Who pretended he was drunk
When I dared him to kiss me
And he did,
Tongues rolling together
Like hot snakes,
Grinding all
Hard and sweet against me,
Right in the middle of the party.
And I want his girlfriend,
The tiny goth girl
In the red velvet dress
Who came up behind him, laughing,
And grabbed his crotch,
Saying, "I knew you wanted this."
I want to hang out in gay bars
And not have to play Fudge-The-Pronoun
All night if I want to get laid.
I want to kiss you.
Right now. In public.
Even if we're in the wrong neighborhood.
Even if "guys never kiss."
Even if you never date bisexuals.
Even if you
Don't even believe bisexuals exist,
I still want to kiss you.
I want to kiss you
And stroke your hair
And go down on you
Because this lesbian I once knew
Showed me just how to do it
And how to rim a straight guy
So he'll want to get fucked,
So he'll start dreaming,
Maybe for the first time
About taking that hardness into himself.
I want to fuck you.
I want to fuck you and I'm not sorry about it.
I want to handcuff
The boy from the video store
And push him down on my bed
And work him up
'Till he's so hot and hard and
Spit slick
That he's begging me to get him off
And he doesn't care
If we are two guys,
He just knows that he needs to come.
Until he can't talk or beg,
Or even think anymore.
Until neither one of us
Even exists beyond the need
To fall,
Flaming
Into the incandescent skin of the other.
Then I want to do it all over again,
With a woman,
While he watches.
Bringing her,
With fingers, tongue and cock
To climax after climax,
The walls ringing with her screams,
Over and over
In that place
Beyond identity,
Beyond need,
Beyond gender and explanation,
Beyond even beyond,
And crashing
Back into our bodies again.
And afterwards,
I want to curl them up,
Boy and girl,
One under each arm
With their heads on my chest,
Breathing, and peaceful, and wordless.
I want to fall in love with you,
No matter who we are,
Or what we think is possible,
Because I believe
In everything honest, sweet and hot.
Because I want the love
That cracks walls
And transcends the tribe.
That,
And I want the boy at the video store,
Because he looks
Like a really good place to start.

Look! Look! A @}-}rebecca---- sighting!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D

Heh. When I saw this title, it made me think of the classic collection of essays, "What the Negro Wants," from 1944.

This poem: way hotter.

Way.

Thanks.

A very poignant poem. Indeed, for both of us, there is a lot of desire and longing attached to bisexuality. As Woody Allen said, "It immediately doubles your chances of having a date on Saturday night". In truth, it doubles the amount of people you'll see in a day that you might find attractive. It doubles the amount of people you'll wonder about..."What would it be like to hold that person, make love to him/her?". This poem expresses that very well. Bisexuality doesn't necessarily make one promiscuous, but it does make it harder to be completely satisfied with any one person...even a great one. Liz and I both feel this way and it's a big part of our journey together. Is swinging the answer? We have had a few nice 3way encounters together, but we both know that ultimately we are looking for deep, soulmate love that transcends physical characteristics or body...a love shared between the two of us. To get to that we have to be completely honest with each other about our desires for same sex encounters. We talk about it a lot, act on it just a little. It's something of a beautiful problem.

Miss @}-}rebecca---- !!! What a wonderful way to start my morning! :)

Gorgeous poem...

K yeah that was hot.

I am sorry for your loss, and apparently all of ours, this man sounds like a credit to our kind.

(Also came to see what I wanted 0.o)

Thank you so much for coming back and sharing this poem with us. It's beautiful

That poem was a treat for the eyes.

Thanks much for posting it :rose::kiss:

all we need is Marquis and RJ and it'll be a reunion. Though the three of us did drive each other batshit trying to figure each other out :)

Always nice to see you both though.

As to the poem, the remark about "playing Fudge the Pronoun" had some resonance for me.

Damn you people for replying, I'll be here all night :laughs:

Bellatrixie, yes it is and my pleasure.

DVS, ahuh :laughs: you always spoiled me :delight: I hope life is treating you VERY well. xxx

Cattypuss, good to know. I think :laughs:

Miss Fury :big hugs: you too darling heart. xxx

DeepGreenEyes, well I can't disagree. Incredible man and his articulation of the 'madness' is superb huh.

Marty and Liz, thanks for the comments. I'm glad you see the beauty in it too, a delightful conflict for some I imagine, a sexual smorgasbord for others perhaps. I'd vote for both simultaneously but what the Hell do I know. Good luck to you both.

Miss CutieMouse, great to see you about too. I concur with gorgeous. xxx

Miss Shy, you braaaaaaaaaat, I'm not back in the biblical sense :laughs: I DO miss you in a wanton mischievous passionate kind of way though. Want to snog sweety ? Bet a few would watch : winks :

lne_iii, hey and yes he was, still is really. He has left several unique legacies, those investments in other people directly as well as more cerebral direct examples , such as the poem above.

Miss ecstaticsub, my total pleasure, hope all is well with you :hugs: xxx

Fondelum, as above, my pleasure. So happy you enjoyed it.

SpectreT !!!! Freak !!!! : laughs : A 'girl' can never get sick of hearing that, EVAH. I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Nothing quite like elegant well articulated depravity. Always leaves room for the base, which is also smokun :laughs:

win/win

Love to all.

Rebecca

PS WTF was I thinking with that flowery name, no wonder the mean girls of Lit gave me krap :laughs:
