HRC was more "government-y" than Trump. She didn't represent a sea change. This first woman thing never mattered as much to me as much as effete political philosophy. She was in govern meant a lot, but she didn't have much experience as a representative politician. Her stint as NYS Senator was a complete sham, and everyone knows it. She was as "establishment" as you can get. I think for me, she believes government is the solution. I think government is the problem. It certainly has a legitimate role, which I fully support (Lord knows). I live in a very poor city. The schools here have assumed near total responsibility for the raising of children. I think they provide 3- meals a day for the kids. I think the only thing the kids do with their "families" is sleep. They are with the school from morning until night sometimes. In the poor community, there is no sense of personal responsibility for the raising of children. The family structure is virtually non-existent. Kids are turned over to the state.
What I'm trying to say is that the problems and the solutions we face domestically are because of us, not politicians.
