I learned today that I need to throw caution into the wind and quit trying to use reason and common sense at work. Those things are evidently not allowed and against company policy.

I've learned that I make a kick-ass Eggplant Parmesan ...and that the chick from Weird Science is my cosmic twin :)

IL,

The full story, and it all makes sense now
The list just seems to keep getting longer and longer
It's a good thing I am the level headed, classy person I am...a very good thing

A new insult that somebody calls some women that are full of themselves

BOBFOC

Body Off Baywatch, Face Off Crimewatch

I didn't mean to laugh because it's mean...but I did :D

^^ LOL

I learned today that the word "decimate" actually means to reduce something by 10%. I shall replace it with "annihilate" in my day to day usage.

How difficult some people find it to cope in a slightly stressful situation. I dread to think what would happen if something actually serious happened!

The economic cost of stink bugs on the US
(Washington Journal was really reaching for topics this morning)

That if you have a problem and you think you are alone, your not lots of people are in the same situation and put up with it

I learned that those who like to pontificate on the hardships of others don't really remember the times they reacted to their own... glass houses and all that

I learned that it was decidedly nippy this morning and that I probably should have worn a sweater.

I learned...

* Logistical proximity was more the priority and criteria then anything else.
* Apparently, I didn't fit the criteria, but I now know others currently do-- based on statement above
* I'm far above the criteria anyway--- in every way

I learned all sorts of things, mainly due to the medicinal chemistry and pharmacology of anticoagulants. Fun stuff. -_-

I learnt that going out drinking the night before your husband is going to be using a jackhammer outside your house all day is really not a good idea!!

Apparently, after many years of practising Tai Chi, I (and a whole room full of people) are no nearer to 'it' than we were when we started :(
