He didn't leave, but did hand me a towel, I was able to wrap around myself when I stepped out of the tub.
Sliding pass his offer of a kiss. I went to the room.
"Can you wait in here while I get dressed please"
I saw the disappointment in his eyes, but I stood firm
Finally he nodded yes
I quickly got dressed in the outfit he suggested
"I had a wonderful time last night, I don't think I've ever danced as much before"
"The men here are so different from in the States. It's like what my grandmother told me to expect"
"Ok Professor, I'm decent you can come out now"
We go down to the breakfast room, another very formal lookin room.
The host a Count Tepes came to greet us, shaking the professors hand and a hug and kiss on my cheeks.
We were seated at the same table as the Count and several other distinguished looking people.
The conversation was fascinating as the discussed werewolves and vampires.
I couldn't understand their native Romanian well enough to follow the conversations. But I knew enough to thank the host and the waitress who was bringing the foodstuff
When the count asked how I knew the language I explained that my grandmother had been born here, and I spent a good amount of time with her.
After the breakfast was finished the professor and I went to the library to do his research. Because I couldn't the books, I basically just took notes of what he relayed to me.
At one point I was looking at more picture books then anything, probably books for children, but I could follow them when the count came to check on us.
Seeing me off to the side he came over, after asking permission to sit, he sat in the chair close to mine
“Miss Jenkins, Morrigan I have found a room for you if sharing one with Dr. Kolkac is uncomfortable for you. I understand that b do not look on the sharing of rooms between young women and older men as acceptable. Unless….”
"That would be nice, it's been ok sharing with the professor, but hard to do things like shower and change in such close quarters"
"I love the rooms here, so beautiful and well kept!!!"
"When I can I move my things over? and is it close to the professors room?"
"I guess I'll have to tell him as well. But he shouldn't be upset, after all the original plan was separate rooms"
I'm finding the Count very nice a real gentleman from the old days as my grandmother would say.
