What color is your leather?

Ever notice how most people choose black leather? I was channel surfing this morning and there were leather jackets on QVC or some such channel. They had black and chocolate brown. The person I was speaking to on the phone at the time said that she would have to get the black for her Dom, since she couldn't picture a Dom in chocolate. Now a Dom with chocolate, now that's a whole 'nother scene! So I was wondering what color leather would you choose, if the leather fairy popped in one night.

i would have to go with black as it suits me......aside from the fact that black is a good contrast to my very light skin and its a classic almost any color can go with it......reddened buttocks included

I'm a red leather kind of girl. Red looks good on me and its Master's favorite color. My cuffs and collar are matching red leather. The climate here doesn't really support wearing leather except in the dead of winter. Other times, its just too warm so I haven't bought any leather clothing.

My leather clothes are mostly the original color. I love watching it deepen and fade as they get older over time with wear and use.

What leather I have is of the black variety. Collar, cuffs, bondage belt, and body harness.... all black. With as fair as my skin is it is a very striking contrast (no pun intended....... no really it wasn't )

I live in Florida, albeit North Florida. Our winter is maybe 1-2 months long, and extremely temperate. Leather is not practical at all. I miss living out west in New Mexico--I loved wearing black leather pants, with soft jewel toned suede shirts. No more of THAT. They sold for quite a bit a money at the consignment shop when I left. *sigh*

My restraints are black leather. I'm a traditionalist, I suppose.

my leather choices

I am a biker, so on my bike i prefer to wear natural colours cos the dirt does not show up as much,, or road grime or what ever you call it, and Black that is reserved for more formal type settings like social functions and stuff, my bike leathers are just not clean enough to wear any where else but riding!!

i will say that i like leather according to my mood..though i do also live in a climate where most of my pleather (i to poor to afford the real thing) sit in my closet most of the year collecting dust. but leather is so great, i mean some times you need the black stuff just to be sexy..thier's red to be extra sexy. brown if you want to be more classy, you can even go graet colors like pink or white or blue to be cute..and thier's paton leather for that insanely shiney sexy look.. oh yeah..leather.

the best part of all though..has to be that new leather smell. if i were a dog i'd roll in it.

I am a leather collector..clothes..boots..shoes and toys.
99% is black with 1% being red.
The first time I took the slave shopping for a leather skirt I just thought I had to have....he actually had to leave the building! When the pile was up to 3 skirts and a jacket plus a long coat he started to think I had lost My mind. Now he knows that is just the way I buy leather.
Opera length leather gloves feel amazing.
