looking at sorting out my kindle folders to find what I have but not read yet & what I really loved to reread again.
I'll have a few weeks down to fill while stuck in the sling again.

CRISIS. It's a firsthand account from a UN diplomat during the Suez Canal crisis of 1956

Starting: The Whistler (John Grisham)

"The Cyclist Who Came In From The Cold", Tim Moore, about his cycling 10,000km along the line of the Iron Curtain, as was, on an ancient bike. He's hilarious, writes really well, some serious observations, but mostly suffering and enjoying it :)

I'm rereading A Dance with Dragons while I wait for the library to get something new and interesting in.

A lot of Native American mythology. Going onto Hopi and Navajo specifically. The Sacred hoop first.

Rereading The Good Fairies of New York by Martin Millar.

It makes me laugh....

The Queens midwife (the midwife of Henri VIII queens) - Lozania Prole

Oh my gosh! That sounds amazing!

I'm actually fascinated with king Louis XIV. I have a book on his grandniece, Marie Adelaide of Savoy. She was poisoned an d killed on the eve of becoming queen.

I need to reread that book.

The Wall by Marlen Haushofer.

I saw the movie a few years ago and was blown away--it echoed around in my head for months and I finally decided to read the source. So far the book is every bit as amazing.

Here's the movie trailer. I recommend both highly.
