I've recovered to the point where I am working on the Old Testament history lectures I am pinch-hitting for a sick colleague, and they are going OK. I'll put it no stronger than that. I have got another piece that I am working on for a conference later this month, and I am beginning to be aware of 'the deadline' that is looming out of the mist. That is usually the sort of thing that focuses my mind wonderfully.

Felt a warm glow when Muse looked as though she wanted to pack a bag and come with me to the conference.
