What Are You Thinking? Continued 7

Vtmb and the baldur's gate series were probably my favorites with morrowind.

I played VTMB 5 times with different characters.

I couldn't get into fallout because you are forced to play a male character. Doom3 is the only one I could play as a male, but that's cause you rarely see the character.

I thought you could play as a female in Fallout? But I always play the games with the FIXT mod and Restoration Project mod. Modders looked at the game code and saw that the developers had to cut content to make the release dates. So, they mod the game to reimagine what the developers originally wanted.

I’m too lazy to look it up if you can or can’t play as a woman. But Fallout is amazing. If you can’t play FO1/FO2, definitely try New Vegas. Obsidian worked on it.

Also, Outer Worlds is pretty good. Obsidian worked on it. I didn’t love it. But it’s pretty good.

(SPOILERS) Baldur’s Gate 1: Enhanced Edition is my number 1 most played game on Steam. I have hundreds and hundreds of hours in it, and mods make it good too. I really really wanted to romance Imoen but the story waits until the end to tell you that she’s your sister. RIP. So, I romanced Aerie instead. She’s whiney and doesn’t get along with Jaheira but she’s pretty and she had wings and her magic is strong.

I ALWAYS PLAY AS CHAOTIC GOOD. Always. Always. I’m Chaotic Good forever.

Larian Studios is making Baldur’s Gate 3, but honestly, the game is really just Divinity Original Sin 3 with a D&D theme. I love Larian Studios and Divinity OS, but I don’t want them in my Baldur’s Gate.

So, I’m gonna break your heart. I loved VTMB, but I only played it once and I used console commands to obtain every skill point. My character was one of the pretty boys. The truth is... I don’t like combat. If I can ever talk my way out of something, I want to take that route.

I was pretty young when Morrowind came out on XBOX. I didn’t understand the game at all. I bought the official game guide and it was as thick as the Encyclopedia. It was huge!

Morrowind was the first time I ever experienced a quest giver screw you over. I was wondering around and this lady was like “OMG MY RING FELL IN THE WATER! Will you retrieve it for me? I’ll pay you.” And then you just into the water and a bunch of people start attacking you. As a young, naive gamer, that blew my mind. And I fell in love with Bethesda.

I thought Todd Howard could do no wrong. I thought Bethesda was the chosen one. I’m so disappointed in them. :(

Both bloodlines and morrowind were pretty dark and treacherous in their own ways. I loved the dark thick atmosphere in both. Haven't really seen anything like it since then.

I also like the sneaky options you had in most of the quests in Bloodlines.

The original baldur's gate and baldur's gate2 seemed kinda clever though I love how you realize what the nietzsche quote means at the end of the game.

Fallout has always looked really good, but some games I just cant play if the character is not customizable enough also why couldn't play dues ex even though one of them actually had a female character I just could get into Alex.

I saw the new baldur's gate but it doesn't look anything like the old one. I am looking forward to the new vtm game though.

I loved Bloodlines, had a lot of fun playing through as various different kinds of characters. And the atmosphere was so good! They kept the dark and oppressive feeling going even as they switched locations, it was a very cohesive overarching mood.

BG1 and 2, I played a lot more of the first. I liked the exploration more and I've got more of an affinity for lower-level characters, although 2 had some great storytelling and very fun side quests.

Never got into Fallout, but I sunk a lot of time into Arcanum - not great in a lot of ways, but such fantastic character customising possible, and my absolute favourite of all, Planescape: Torment. Mood, story, visual, it was macabre and felt different in setting. And the visuals were a great take on DiTerlizzi's art (among others, but his was the stuff I knew best).

I don't play involved games much anymore, I'd rather put my time elsewhere and I'm pretty much only a casual/retro game player nowadays, but I'm still very curious to see what happens with BG3.

Apparently, I'm in Facebook jail now

I made a comment on facebook once where I said, "I would kill myself if that happened" in response to a friend's post. I was just being silly, not serious at all. The next day I get a message from a woman who said she works with people who have suicide thoughts and that I should get in touch with her. Then later on that day I was locked out and put in facebook jail for a week.

100% pass rate.
87% Class average.

And yes...I’m claiming all of the credit.

Lol...proud of those assholes. They all worked hard. ;)

Does gas go bad? So odd to go from refueling twice a week to once every two months....

I googled this today!!

Gas can start to go bad in as little as just three months because the lighter, more volatile components of gasoline evaporate over time,” says John Ibbotson, Consumer Reports' chief automotive services manager at the Auto Test Center. Using old fuel in your car can sap engine power, causing hesitation and stalling.

Where's the nomad when I need him? I have a work project that he could probably do with his eyes shut in about an hour. It's taking me forever. Damn.

I may start just filling half way up. I’m working from home with our company shut down at least August.

My days are running together. I do stuff every day but it's basically a repeat of the day before. Eat, sleep, rave, repeat. 🤣🤣🤣
