It's my birthday today and I just turned 50. I'm laying here next to a man I love, who loves me, and listening to his soft snoring. I'm thinking about how on April 7th, 30 years ago, I married my first love and how today is, or would have been his birthday too. If they had met, before Richard died, I wonder what they would have thought of each other?
