People "cozy at home" have possibly lost their jobs. (I understand your rant though)

We are all in this together. We need to show compassion all around. We all want things to get back to whatever normal will be. We all need to do our part. Wash our hands, stay out of public as much as possible, help those who need help. Check on our family and loved ones.

The only time I will say that I am grateful my parents aren't around to go through this.

The front line people are in my thoughts. I don't envy them.

We are all grieving right now, no matter what our situation. Our lives and our world will most likely never be quite the same. We may not be "sacrificing", we may be okay financially or have a job or a healthy family or whatever....but we are all affected by the loss of the security we knew, by the knowledge that our world could so easily be turned upside down. It's lurking there in the back of all our minds. Often when someone is really frightened about something big, it comes out as complaining about every little thing. So, give everyone a break for the time being, be kind, be compassionate, take the high ground. Then tell them later after this is all over what an asshat they were being.

I know many have survived this virus, but as i sit here, I have a cousin fighting for his life in the ICU and his wife is also in the hospital with it and I can’t imagine wishing it on anyone. Sad.
