In real life it’s a sad state of affairs to have to remake yourself with a new name, personality and character because everybody knows you have nothing worthy to offer society as a human being.

IDK...sometimes I go months, even a year or so w/o having a beer, glass of wine or mixed drink.

How about trying some mock drinks? Club soda with cranberry or other juices? If you've just gotta have a beer then get one of the better non-alcohol ones?

I've done both of the above when I've been out and was the designated driver.
