It's always a popularity contest on here, not about how good a person you are.

You get forgotten quickly by those who claimed to be friends. Dust yourself down, move on and don't let them back in. Their loss.

You do you and you seem like a great dude.

I've been here a while and I think not enough people realize the real world issues people have. Sometimes they can't share those issues, sometimes they aren't comfortable sharing but I find people usually find their way back if they are friends. We all get sidetracked/busy from time to time. I never take it personal and always welcome hearing from someone even if I hadn't heard from them in years. If we are truly friends, we won't sweat the small stuff.

Not that I don't get your perspective, just providing a different view for you to consider.
