What Are You Thinking? Continued 14

Is “striving to be ordinary” possible? I think I am what I am. I like and I dislike. I accept the inevitable and change things to my convenience. If ordinary makes fun I am ordinary. Ordinary seems to be a basic to be added with my dirty phantasies and desires. But I hope I will never become ruthless or inconsiderate.
I think of striving to be ordinary to be without imagination, interests, passions and enthusiasm. It is status quo at its most basic. I’m not sure how that connects to being ruthless or inconsiderate.
I’m talking about living your life with intention.

I think striving to be ordinary is an OK thing. Having no great ambition, other than to be happy, contented and healthy.
It depends how you're wired.
Others set themselves goals and are very driven and focused, sometimes missing the bigger picture and treating others badly along the way

For me it’s not about being driven and having goals it is about living life to its fullest and making the most of the moments we have. It is choosing to spend time doing what brings you joy. Not trying to have or be more. It is not a power or money grab it is about actively choosing to participate in your life instead of letting it happen to you.
