This was after me saying that it wasn’t worth my time to try to reconnect with someone who didn’t even remember me. (This person messaged me off lit and then, a few messages in, asked me what my lit username is).

Seriously though, the Skype mismatch is real. You take it off Lit and go ooops-not for me. It’s not that they are necessarily bad but the connection(friend or more) has to be solid before taking it to a new platform.
