What Are You Thinking? Continued 14

Just went down a Lit memory lane stroll circa GB threads in 2015. Doesn’t seem like all of that was so long ago, but somehow also feels like it was a lifetime ago.

Why would people think it’s okay to schedule a 4pm call on a Friday before a holiday weekend.

You must really love your job 🫠

EVERYONE knows that 4pm on a friday before a holiday is when you sent that really awkward and long email (in my case to a solicitor with lots of questions and "what about..." points) and then you log off.

It’s worse when everyone knows your off work for the day and you get the text of “I know you’re out but we really need to meet to discuss…”

So, you dial in, and it’s completely something that could’ve waited until Tuesday because they didn’t even have all their shit together in the first place to talk about it.

😑😒

When I did IT help desk someone came into my office at 4:55 right before happy hour and exclaimed "My computer has a virus!" Spent the next two hours running anti-virus programs, missing happy hour, and it turned out her computer was actually fine. It's been years but I still hate this person. 🤣

office life is great!

"This is SO important!"

"Why?"

*silence*

*checks to the left, then to the right to make sure he's still between the lines*

Yep, just staying in my lane.
