The ignore feature and the report feature are both needed in a public space like this. They work well here for those that use them. If somebody posts a video of themselves wanking on the what are you doing now thread, I know that I can report it and it will be taken down (pretty quickly too).

I personally don’t use the ignore feature. I don’t want my screen to show lots of ignored content messages and I find it does ruin some of the game threads when other people post who clearly have the previous poster on ignore.

People should also be more aware of their own behaviours and while they see nothing wrong with how they behave, if lots of people are saying it is inappropriate (or the public threads are not the place for it) then they should take that on board.

If it isn’t how you would behave in the real world in public, then don’t behave that way in a public space online. That ranges from getting your dick out and waving it around, or pressing your tits up against the window on public transport, to over the top public displays of affection.

I do agree wholeheartedly. I’m inclined to move certain content to a specific thread should it continue. There’s a room, keep it in the room.

I do wish folks would internalize that one should behave on a public forum as they would in public. “But, but, but IT’S A SEX FORUM!” is a lousy excuse. Consent still applies.

I do really endorse the ignore feature. I had to take a LOT of folks off ignore when I became a mod, lol. There are folks here that I’m shocked when anyone replies to them, like how are they not universally ignored.

With the snow steadily melting off of the mountains, and only the ice capped peaks remaining untouched, rivers have begun their yearly overflow of their banks.

It’s a magnificently spectacular sight. One that never fails to amaze.
The power and authority that an unstoppable force can produce.

Unfortunately, this force is destructive as well. Uncaring for who may own what, and how much love and effort have gone in to their homes as it rages passed… and through some of them.

Today we spent the last 13 hours repairing roads that have been destroyed from the wash out.


Exhausted, feeling tiny and insignificant compared to the power of God’s creation, we are now heading back to our homes to eat with shaky hands, before the eventual collapse in to bed.


People are amazing. Their depths of camaraderie is warming to the heart. The level of commitment given to helping others….a testament to human perseverance.

I have been humbled today. And shown yet again, that hard work and effort can overcome almost any obstacle.


I am blessed. And all of the homeowners helped to regain access to their homes….are as well.

Yes, that’s a possibility. Laurel does prefer just closing the accounts and making them “guests,” and I prefer that as the threads don’t disappear. But I understand why folks ask to be deleted entirely from the site.
