You can’t post something like that and not post the music. Share your freaked out waysLast night...I had the most bizzarre and extraordinary body experience with a piece of music. I kind of freaked out for a moment.
You would laugh. lolYou can’t post something like that and not post the music. Share your freaked out ways![]()
You too.Psst… miss you when you aren’t around

I have never listened to it before but I am tempted nowYou would laugh. lol
The piece was from Rigoletto. I don't know how familiar you are with it but it was a precise moment in the music and the reaction I had caught me by surprise. I was working and listening to it and suddenly my whole body, practically from my neck down to my toes, had some sort of electric shock. I kid you not. I am not exaggerating. I stopped and repeated again, twice, and the same thing happened.
This has never happened to me before, and I have listen to Rigoletto hundred times. It's my favorite Opera. I mean, a piece of music could give me goosebumps, or move me to tears, like many people. But I've never experienced such a thing before. I must've been particularly receptive last night. Idk...it was weird. lol

I'll be more attentive next time.Sarcasm and nuance...still fall on deaf ears.
If/when you want to listen to an Opera, and you want a good and powerful drama, listen to Rigoletto. If you want something fun and cheerful, and exquisite, Rossini is the man for you, The Barber of Seville.I have never listened to it before but I am tempted now
These are excellent recommendations. The Barber of Seville is opera buffa so no one dies, lol. La Boheme is a good one. Its endearing to me as it was the first opera I performed in.If/when you want to listen to an Opera, and you want a good and powerful drama, listen to Rigoletto. It's hard for me to choose between him and Verdi, so I don't. lol A male friend of mine was a contestant once. I went with him to the TV studios to record the episode and I sat in the audience. It was a great experience, but he didn't get chosen. Cilla Black was top notch, naturally.Blind Date was basically:
Bachelorette "As we found out earlier I like to go a wandering over mountain, brook, & stream. If we were to go wandering, where would we go?"
Contestant one, "I would take you to Florence where we could people watch in the piazza and wander around the Da Vinci museum"
Contestant two, "I would take you all over the world to see all the biggest stuff. Phnarr phnaar."
Contestant three, "Up the shitter."
Well. This post caused a bit of a stir. Returning to messages asking if I'm okay.I think I need to send out a mass phishing pm to get some attention. I'm feeling very unsure of myself right now and need some serious validation from internet men.
The producers always made them choose the quirky contestants anyway.A male friend of mine was a contestant once. I went with him to the TV studios to record the episode and I sat in the audience. It was a great experience, but he didn't get chosen. Cilla Black was top notch, naturally.
Oh, my friend was very much the quirky one, but as cute as he was, he wasn't as 'smooth' as the others. The producers always made them choose the quirky contestants anyway.
I was on Blockbusters as a kid. (Loads of other TV as an adult)
I'm an on camera person definitely - just a big show off really.Oh, my friend was very much the quirky one, but as cute as he was, he wasn't as 'smooth' as the others.
I'd much rather be in the audience than in front of the cameras. We did a couple of other audience things together, I think one of them was something with Lenny Henry in. It was a long time ago (30 years ish) so my memory is a bit hazy now.
Did you have a p in front of Bob Houlness?Oh, my friend was very much the quirky one, but as cute as he was, he wasn't as 'smooth' as the others.

Not I. But given how much of an attention whore @Wriggleitlady claims to be, I can almost guarantee it.Did you have a p in front of Bob Houlness?
