What Are You Thinking? Continued 14

In a few years they're getting rid of gasoline there, right?
LOL. That's the plan apparently. I'm sure upgrading the infrastructure won't be a problem. We only have a budget deficit ATM of approximately 73 billion dollars. Just need to plant more of those magical money trees.

I've spent most of my life in Michigan...the scenery is usually nice, most people are nice too...unless the topic turns to politics....but I stay out of that for obvious reasons.
I’m next door in Ohio and same. :)

I also love having distinct seasons. And I’m 1-2 hours from 4 major cities so sooo much is available to us here.

My parrot has been escaping her cage each morning around 6:30am. She then walks up the stairs and climbs into my bed. I love her so much but I need to sleep! Anyway, my dad is going to try to fix the cage so she cannot escape anymore.

Yeah, and a lot are moving here to Virginia for some reason.
Everyone has their different priorities. Some just want to move to where there is water lol. So Cal been in a drought for a very long time. It would be a ghost town without aqueducts bringing water in from the Colorado and Sacramento(?) rivers.

I can understand that, though if we have too high an influx, I would worry about the water supply here too. Virginia has had some pretty bad droughts too, but I know nowhere near like out there thankfully.

They've talked about moving water from the Mississippi. So yeah, one way or another, the population of So Cal is going to have an effect on far-reaching communities. There is a high price to pay in building paradise in a desert apparently.

An "irrigated desert" as my college professor called it.

Humans can be so stupid and damaging to the planet. If it was meant to have water enough to sustain that many people, the water would already be there. At least it's my belief.

Our planet has more than enough water for everyone. The problem is that the vast majority of it is very, very salty. And tastes like fish.

It's raining? In the PNW? What is this madness?!?!

I wonder how a carwash business in the PNW would do compared to back home. 🤔
It does okay actually because no one wants to wash their cars in the rain. All that rain leaves dirty cars.

I’m thinking I can’t wait to air the house out tomorrow and also go hoofing it with the dog when it hits 60 tomorrow.
