What Are You Thinking? Continued 14

The weather sounds awful, so not a plus there, I don’t get cowboy culture at all, I don’t get gun culture at all, the whole concept of city planning is lost on that state and I’m going to avoid the obvious political aspects of Texas.
I hear the hot humid weather is unrelenting.

My spouse lived in San Antonio for a bit. The city is nice, the people were great. I get some gun culture, my father was a professional hunter, I grew up with it in a way. The obvious politics is why I couldn't live there now. Some things are between me & my doctor, no one else.

Interesting. Can you elaborate on that? You mean things that affect you directly?
No, because I don't live there. But I've enjoyed every time I've visited family down there. Houston is gigantic and tough to get around in, but the people are great. Dallas is very cosmopolitan and definitely a different breed of Texans than most of the state. The Riverwalk in San Antonio is a must-see destination on your bucket list. Galveston is a terrific, low-key place to visit. Amazing seafood right on the beach. Like I said, the people are fabulous. But Greg Abbott and the most corrupt attorney general in the country make it to where I wouldn't want to live there.
