I'm sorry I wish someone knew what was causing it. I know others who are losing their hair after covid as well. It's scary running my hands through it and having hair from the roots come out in clumps.

Hair loss since radiation has been a thing for me. I've just started using Keranique so I am not sure of its success yet. But Biotin and hair/nail vitamins wasn't enough. I was using a Biotin shampoo and that didn't do much.

Try Kaleidoscope drops and a strong biotin supplement, don’t put your hair up in tight ponies (best to not put it up at all), no brushing from root to tip, but backwards..start low and go higher as you detangle, etc. I’ve seen it work well for patients at a few of my clinics. Doesn’t hurt to try.

haha the no pony tail is so hard for me. But yes. I have read about this a lot. I also got one of those stimulating brushes (scalp massager) for the shower when I am putting in the shampoo/conditioner.

Covid hair loss is a very real thing. Overseas research is finding a possibility of epigenetic factors in play. Unfortunately, here in the US...we are way behind in the research...so the doctors are still blaming "fever" from Covid. Fever can cause hair loss. But it usually stops 6 months after the fever. Just like long covid...we are finding much longer cases of hair loss. This will sound nuts...and I am not a doctor (that way) but maybe mimicking what dog breeders do to make their show dogs coats better? Eggs in your diet?

I've been thinking of getting counseling, for getting older. I guess I could google the subject. Is it normal to get near to 70 and think of death a lot? On one hand, you realize you don't have all the time you once had but this is hard to deal with at times. It isn't like I'm sitting around. I work, work out ( although lately it's harder to get into it), I recently took a road trip, keep in touch with family. There isn't much going on in this town though, and in a year I'm planning to move, to where I don't know.
