Now that you mention it, I’m not sure I’ve ever actually heard the word used…only read it in text.

The first use of the word “arse” with a British accent sounds exactly like “ass.” I might be on board for it. The hard R, though. That would take some angry-ass sex (or angry ass sex) to shield it.
