What Are You Thinking? Continued 14

It's Halloween, not Holloween.
I don't know when or where or why people suddenly started doing this, but it's wrong.
I noticed this two days ago on a McDonald's sign when they were advertising their Halloween foodstuffs.
I thought someone just made a mistake since it was one of those lightbox signs with interchangeable letters.
No. I had to look it up yesterday because surely a manager at that location would have made an employee fix it.
It couldn't have been a corporate decision, right?
Unfortunately it sent me down an annoying rabbit hole where this is a purposely done misspelling, and that's just irritating.
Why? There's no purpose to it!
It's as dumb as spelling it Kristmas or Eester or something.
Humanity can be stupid.

Why are "sexy ladybird" Hallowe'en costumes so hottt? It shouldn't make sense... but here we are... 🤷‍♂️

There needs to be a ready resource that can be summoned whenever someone starts with the ‘Halloween is an American invention’

Head/desk moments abound.
