I absolutely love my parents but I’m really happy about shutting my door and hanging in my apartment by myself tonight!

And that did not happen. My parents were tired but needed to eat something so I made them a quick simple dinner. Now I’m finally getting that shower.

It feels like today will be the "drain, clean, and refill the swim spa, then adjust the chemicals" day...I'll reward myself with an unholy amount of gluttony to keep my strength up...

It's a 17 foot swim spa...though I use it mostly as a glorified spa tub...I use the jets that are supposed to be for swimming as the jet to pummel the crap out of my muscles...they do a very good job...

As to best friend...I'd have to come up with something as a barter...

That's even better, because I am a lazy swimmer, so staying in one place is fine by me. And jets are always good.

So I want to be your best friend so I can use your pool. It is a bit one sided. What could I offer you mmmm. I am a good best friend and I know how to look after a pool.

Maybe, but you failed miserably today while I was working hard to make the tub great for tomorrow...not sure how you'd make it up to me...

My goal is to wake up and before eating breakfast, go out and check the pool chemistry and water temp, then add hot (or cold, depending) water to finish filling it properly. Then climb in and use it, before adding more chemicals to get the chemistry just right...

I always look at the background when people post pics as much as the actual picture. You can tell a lot about a person sometimes.

I recall seeing the work of an artist who removes the people in pornography so you just see them as silhouettes in a room. It was pretty great, I think.

It's depressing when supposed English speakers have lame excuses for basic English mistakes.
It's the internet, so there's a lot that's excusable, but "I just got up" isn't an excuse for using words wrong, especially when it's clear the words are misused because they are mispronouncing them in reality.
I just witnessed someone talking about "stalking" shelves at work instead of stocking shelves.
They tried to tell me it's because English is dumb and has multiple definitions.
No, this isn't a multiple definition thing, this is a two different words thing.
Clearly they failed to ever comprehend the spoken different between stalk and stock.
Also, it's not a matter of you just getting up because you obviously have misunderstood the words for a while now.
I could only just walk away.
