When people ask me how much money I make from being an artist, writer, and craftsperson, I wonder how they are not already familiar with the realities of being a creative. The woman whose kids I babysit made a comment like, "you're so good at crocheting, I bet that you get paid a lot!" Thank you for the compliment, but no. :ROFLMAO:

My last youtube rabbit hole has been watching a few of my favorite artists going through their review/breakdown (set up, sales, costs, what the event is like) of working "Artist Alley" at Cons. People have no clue for sure
