What Are You Thinking? Continued 14

Nothing makes me feel more like the man of the house than checking the thermostat before bed.

If only I could fall asleep as fast as one of them 😴
I was married 29 years. I checked it every night unless I was to sick to get out of bed.

This was not my choice, heh.

Aphantasia isn't on/off, it's on a scale.

And we can get distress from "factual" memories in a similar manner. (Shouldn't have ever watched Dancer in the Dark. It gave me nightmares for weeks.)

I know two people with extreme aphantasia.
With factual memories do they stay with you forever?

Statistically I think it is highly improbable, not saying it's impossible but stats say otherwise.

Mine isn't extreme, but most of my memories are factual (don't even know the official term for it), and yes, they do stay, whereas most of my picture-like memories are short-term only.

The level of detail varies, though.
