I hope that virus's effect is waning, Auntie, and that you are feeling better todayNo I wasn’t referring to you as being passive aggressive but comments that I read on this thread sometimes. Only person (I’m not mad) I’m exhausted with is myself and being infected by this viral. Well tonight is a new day (technically).
On the book note it kind of annoys me when there is a sociopath serial killer faking emotions to pass by and a dumbass character is like ‘but what if this person is misunderstood?’
People go to church to be absolved of their sins, realize how "bad" they've been, and then take out that misplaced disappointment and resentment on everyone else. I really dislike Sunday shoppers.![]()
That sucks. I wish I could go shopping on a Sunday here. Everywhere is closed. We have Konrad Adenauer and the Nazi party to thank for that. And they were alll church goers.People go to church to be absolved of their sins, realize how "bad" they've been, and then take out that misplaced disappointment and resentment on everyone else. I'm thinking these dogs need to learn that 5 is way too early for a Sunday
But I'm up so what are you going to do I guess![]()
Maybe we can work out a dog exchange program based on when we NEED to get up...We should switch dogs... mine is lazy and likes to sleep in. I'm the one getting her up at a decent time!
I'm sorry to hear you're not having a great day...I'm somewhat sad today. My dad is sick with some mysterious vertigo (he's never had vertigo before). Also, it's a dark and gloomy day outside, so of course my brain is mad at that. I'm doing light therapy now to try to help my mood and my fatigue.
My older neighbor across the road was like that towards me for a few years after we moved in. I kind of bit his head off when pregnant and shoveling snow from my driveway... he backed off and hasn't over stepped since then. Go-go hormonal rage.My new neighbor is way too nosey. I Don't need her to double-check if the grocery store I am going to is open on Sunday.
Or where my grocery delivers come from. Grumble, grumble…
I know she is trying to be helpful but as a grown middle-aged woman it feels condescending.
I hate Christian shoppers and I'm a Christian. When I worked retail I really wanted to ask them what church they attended so I could avoid it.People go to church to be absolved of their sins, realize how "bad" they've been, and then take out that misplaced disappointment and resentment on everyone else. I’m afraid to even set foot in a church these days.People go to church to be absolved of their sins, realize how "bad" they've been, and then take out that misplaced disappointment and resentment on everyone else. I really dislike Sunday shoppers.![]()
It would be one hell of a show, though!I’m afraid to even set foot in a church these days.
I might burst into flames.
True. All the running and screaming as I grow horns like LokiIt would be one hell of a show, though!
I need an AL East team. It’s between the Rays (I have a slight thing for Tampa for reasons I can’t even figure out), Red Sox (my people have been in Boston since the 1600s) and the O’s (my SIL’s hometown).
I've always been a Rangers fan, but it was fun being in the mid Atlantic during the Ripken era. Camden Field was (and presumably remains) a cathedral to baseball.I need an AL East team.
