Yes! I think AV consistency is very important to being recognizable. I get very thrown, too.

Also when certain people on certain other apps constantly change their name AND photo. And I’m like… who is this

Same. And I have bad eyesight so unless the pic is very simple I really rely on color recognition. Which is why so many B&W don’t stand out for me.

But I like ones I can see the pic because it’s not just about the recognition but association.
