What Are You Thinking? Continued 14

There was a time before The One Rule. It was madness and chaos...
well the one rule is fine, and ive said it before, but the new "day" should start at the same time for everyone, im just a complainer, but having to wait for your "time zone" gets frustrating, haha.

Stop complaining and eat your tortilla

I get so mad at myself when I post a song in @morelikeasong's challenge, and then hours later I think "fuck! Why didn't I use this one?!" https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f926-1f3fb-2640.png such a good challenge, so many song choices, such a forgetful Chloe
The challenge thread was the first place I posted on the "fun" side of Lit, and it has been my one true constant. I even have a link in my sig to it. Other than a short period I was away, I have posted every day for about a year now. I have listened to just about every song posted as well. I have been known to get long-winded, which I know will surprise you to tears, and I have two places in there where it would have been too much text, so I did Vocas, almost like a podcast. I am not arguing that I am not insane with any of those confessions. The thread just means a lot to me. And I stress. For one thing, I have a bunch of my own rules for myself, on what I can and can't use, what research I allow myself beforehand (usually only on the 60's stuff, but when I am giving myself my own theme to make it harder, I research a bit more), if I can reuse a song (no), things like that. And oh, when Generations Week gets more complex? I may go a bit further insane (and were you around when we did bonus points for the whole month? Gah...)

So yeah, I get rethinking and overthinking. I do it all the time. But your picks -- everyone's picks, honestly --are great. It gives us a chance to show what we love in a way that hopefully other people will come to love too. It is also a way to show how we connect to the music beyond "I like this," if that is what you want to show. But "I like this" works great as well.

So you do good. Cut yourself slack, Princess.

There is a thread (by @__Nathan1968 ) where people post their back up choices or ones they thought of later. It is not officially sanctioned and I consider anyone who posts there to be a blasphemous traitor

…but it does exist 😝
