What Are You Thinking? Continued 14

How it’s normalised to see men (actors) cry on TV shows now. That sort of vulnerability didn’t existed in mainstream media before, how uplifting it is compared to the toxicity of men don’t cry bullshit from the past.
Hmmm…Archie Bunker cried on TV. I could give other examples.

Truly Enjoy What You Enjoy

I've been wanting to post this for days now, but I keep getting distracted by my horny Lit friends. So I'm getting it down here now while I'm thinking about it.

I drink coffee every day. I love it, and I personally think a day without coffee is a day wasted. But I realized the other day that I don't always appreciate my coffee when I'm drinking it. So I started intentionally taking a moment and closing my eyes when I take my first few sips in the morning, just to fully savor the enjoyment I get out of it.

Then I started thinking about all of the other things we do in our daily routines that we don't take the time to fully appreciate in the moment. They always say "It's the little things in life", and I think that's very true. But especially when it comes to the things that we truly enjoy, but that have become regular, routine, mundane, and even forgotten.

So I want to encourage everyone who reads this to purposefully enjoy what you enjoy. To just take a conscious moment, close your eyes, and completely savor what it is that you enjoy at that moment. Whether it's that first sip of coffee, tea, diet Coke, or your daily energy drink. Or a hot, fresh McDonald's french fry that you've had a couple hundred times over the years. Or the beautifully landscaped and flowered front yard that you drive by every day on the way to work. Or the regular, standard sex that you have with your partner of the past 20 years. Or just that perfect moment of masturbation, even if you've done it the same way your entire life.

Just purposefully enjoy a moment of what you enjoy, every time you enjoy it.

Have a great day, and I hope you have at least a couple of those simple, but special moments today.

God I hate holidays, I used to love them and my birthday.

Spend ten years married to a douche and you’ll hate them forever
I occasionally sneak in personal days where I don’t tell my peeps at home I’m on holiday. Just spend the day doing my own thing with zero responsibilities for a few hours. It’s nice and you can do whatever you like with no demanding people around you.
