What Are You Thinking? Continued 14

I'm thinking that I'm hurting right now more than I have in a long time, years even. And I know that I shouldn't feel this bad, that what I'm upset about shouldn't be that big a deal, so I'm also angry at myself for letting myself get so emotional. Most people on Lit know me as their friendly neighborhood smart-ass and pervert. But I'm devastated right now.

When I was eight, there was a kid in my class who loved the Cowboys and hated the Niners, so I decided, arbitrarily and for spite, to love the Niners and hate the Cowboys. I have held onto that for 48 years.
they are the yankees of the nfl...i get it...ive certainly met a lot of people who hate the cowboys. i definitely have my issues with them too. so im mostly kidding, haha.

That made me literally laugh out loud πŸ˜‚ I love it even though I'm indifferent on the Cowboys and the Niners

It is more a friendly hate, now.

Also, I look down on anyone who gives themselves a nickname. "America's Team." Heh, you have a better marketing department than a front line...

The love is gone song from The Muppets Christmas Carol. I’m streaming it this year and it’s noticeably absent
Oh, yes. "When Love is Gone." It was only on the VHS (and not in the theatrical version. I thought I was going nuts when I first saw the VHS.)

If you are on Disney+, go to the extras page for the movie. They have it there.

the House of Mouse and their revisionist history is one of the big reasons I hate streaming
It was not in the theatrical version. Katzenberg thought it was too adult, and took the kids out of it. They lost the footage from the VHS version. Brian Henson, who directed it, paid to have a team search for it. They found it in 2022, and added it to the streaming platform as an extra.

It's an odd little story, and one of the reasons I love The Muppet Christmas Carol so much.

I am a litster who came for stories. Later found forums with pictures of nude women (one of my favorite things).
Joined to see attachments I couldn't see which turned out to be actual people, blew my mind.
I had a work injury which requires healing time and pain meds. That led me to spending a LOT of time getting tangled through the threads of real humans and the things they share, nudes and scenery and pets and things of great interest to them and me. All a welcome and necessary distraction. I substituted Lit for facebook which I quit because of the weather in there leading up to November. I found one person to chat with for awhile, but mostly stick my comments in and enjoy the things people share.
Long story short, I am a Grateful litster.
THANK YOU ALL
Happy holidays

That’s good to know. But It’s not the only thing they have edited on their platform.
