Hope my trip to the mechanic doesn't take what I have or I won't be able to pay my bills. But need the vehicle to get to work.

You can go to Autozone or Advanced Auto, O'Reilly's and they will check your "check engine light" for free. Alot of times that light means nothing important, sometimes it does......but they can tell you if it's checked on computer.

mmmm..... know that problem unfortunately.........you need someone who REALLY knows what they are doing to fix it. Sorry. Was hoping it was something blah like an O2 sensor you don't need to worry about for a long while.
