It helped me realize I set no boundaries and was a pushover. I felt guilty if I wasn't constantly polite and people pleasing. Never would have described myself as such. After diving into chum filled waters here as a newbie it wore me out trying to politely set boundaries. Now I'm more FAFO.

Chili-evangelists have strong opinions. I tried to fuck around and put ground turkey, corn, and black beans into my chili (as opposed to simply ground beef and kidney beans).

The old heads at work made me walk of shame out the door.

I find nothing wrong with ground turkey, healthyisher than red meat and absorbs flavors well

agreed...all you need for perfect chili is a texas two step chili kit, 2lbs of 70/30 ground beef, a jar of mrs renfros habanero salsa, 8 oz of beef bone broth, shredded sharp cheddar cheese and original fritos...dont bother with the masa packet, its just a thickener...

On the one hand I'm glad I don't have to worry about this gst holiday, it's an accounting and software nightmare for so many businesses. On the other hand alcohol is tax exempt for 2 months but weed isn't? Mine is definitely the lesser of two evils and yet still being punished 6 years after legalization.

So. As a software developer, who’s even done embedded stuff at really big tech companies, aside from my phone almost everything in my life is as analog as possible. Manual transmissions and all that.
