What Are You Thinking? Continued 14

just suck at connecting with people, posting, commenting, and at the moment parenting, and probably a list of things. I’m not funny, interesting or intriguing to apparently anyone.
Here’s what I am thinking—it took me 30 years to learn this. If you learn nothing else in 2025, this alone will change your life:

Nothing alienates others or pushes other people away like constant self-deprecation. If you can’t show up for yourself, how would you expect anyone else to?

Conversely, one of the most attractive qualities in another person—even for friendship—is confidence.

Many people simply don’t have the mental and emotional energy to trudge through someone else’s posts of negative self talk when they’re probably hearing enough of their own and all they want is an escape from the negativity.

It starts with nipping the negative self talk in the bud and training your thought patterns to be different. Therapy helps, I had years of it. And as a parent, there is almost nothing more important than NOT passing this behavior on.

I forgot your post, @barefootgirl69, about the leftover Thanksgiving pie, but I remember it sounded yummy! I need that recipe please 🙏🏼

I have no idea what post that was. I just wanted a piece of pie! 🤣
BFG! You do leftover Thanksgiving pie! My wife makes something just like that! It’s called day-after casserole, and it’s amazing!

I usually throw turkey and gravy in the slow cooker, topped with stuffing. Nothing fancy.

Ohhhh, a Thanksgiving pizza!!!! I remember that!

Stuffing crust...bake it!
Add gravy, mashed taters, bits of turkey, bake...add cranberry sauce. I think. 🤔

I was making it up as I typed it. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yesss!! But I need what you typed then because my mouth fell in love!
